About Dall Vechia Law

About John

I am a graduate of Albany Law School and I was admitted as an attorney in New York State in 2009.  I am a lifelong resident of the Hudson Valley.  I have been representing injured and disabled workers in workers’ compensation and social security disability claims for my entire career.  I know that a serious injury or illness can be a devastating event in a person’s life.

Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability provide needed benefits to help people through these difficult times.  However, it often takes the help of a professional to deal effectively with insurance carriers and government bureaucracies.  I have dedicated my career to helping individuals obtain the benefits they need and deserve.

Why Choose John To Be Your Attorney?

It is important to hire an attorney who has the skill and experience to get you the best possible result.  Your attorney should also take the time to help you understand the law and who will keep you informed and involved at every stage of your case. I have been representing clients in workers’ compensation and social security disability claims for over a decade and pride myself on keeping my clients informed to help them understand their cases and the legal process.

I personally handle every case I take on – a commitment many other lawyers can not make.  If one of my clients has a question or wants to discuss his or her case, my client will speak with me personally rather than go through a paralegal or administrative assistant.  While I understand that law firms can make a bigger profit by delegating as much work as possible to non-attorney employees, I believe it is more important to have communications be directly between the attorney and client and for the attorney to be personally involved in every aspect of the case.

A Personal Committment

I am a local attorney with strong roots in the Hudson Valley.  I grew up in Dutchess County.  I graduated at the top of my class from Albany Law School and I have lived in Ulster County ever since graduation.  I have spent my entire legal career in the Hudson Valley.

After the Workers’ Compensation Board began holding “virtual hearings” at which the parties appear by computer or telephone, many law firms based out of New York City or other parts of the state now try to represent clients throughout New York State.   If you choose one of these firms to represent you, you may not the opportunity to ever meet your attorney in person.

Let Dall Vechia Law handle your workers’ compensation case so you can focus on getting better.
